2020 certainly thew a lot at all of us, but I’ll always be thankful for the incredible intimate weddings it gave me the opportunity to shoot. Elizabeth and Dennis were married on the most gorgeous fall day in October at the historic Falls Church Episcopal and it was truly such a lovely celebration of their love and commitment to each other and their families.
Elizabeth thoughtfully and lovingly gathered beautiful family heirlooms and other personally significant items into the details to include in the details and decor, and it was such an honor to document. On our initial call to get to know each other, Elizabeth let me know that she loves film photography which (as you all know) made me unbelievably excited. I had so much fun capturing their day on medium format film and using vintage analog technology (my beloved Pentax 645nii) to connect the modern love these two share to their collective past.
PS: I’ll never get over their incredible black cake and the way the sun performed at the end of the day!
Enjoy my favorite snaps from their beautiful day below!
